Doc Martin Tour
Doc Martin is an immensely popular British TV comedy drama that follows the lives of the inhabitants of the quaint North Cornish village 'Port Wenn'. It's central character is Dr Martin Ellingham, an obnoxious local GP who escaped his previous high flying career as a vascular surgeon in London after developing a phobia of blood.
Although it's popularity is due partly to the excellent script and award winning actors who appear in the series, the real stars of the show are the stunning Cornish locations that the series are filmed in. Port Wenn is a fictional village that is based on the real North Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac where it is mostly filmed. It is easy to see why Port Isaac was chosen as the setting for one of the most popular British TV series of the last 10 years. !
